The Chief Operations Officer maintains the overall operations of computing and information technology functions of the State Data Center and recommends adjustments or enhancements as needed.
State Data Center
The State Data Center (SDC) is located at the Capital Circle Office Center in Southwood, and is owned and operated by the State of Florida. The SDC is dedicated to providing safe, secure housing for data processing equipment and applications. This Tier III, shared use, state-of-the-art data center is staffed 7x24x365 and supports 34 agencies, boards, commissions and municipalities with various data process and technology services.
The Service Catalog contains a listing of technology services offered by the State Data Center to include Data Center Facility and Operations, Network Platform, Storage Platform, Database Platform, Managed Applications, Mainframe Platform, Open Systems Platform, Backup and Recovery Platform, Windows Platform, and Optional Custom Offerings.
The self-service Customer Portal offers one-stop management activities for customers to request services, report incidents, view change releases and reports, access agency service level agreements, and view dashboards.
